This beautiful semi-classical melody works like a charm where both the singer’s voices are layered and they did exceptionally well. Tere Rang/ Murali Mogha is another best song in the soundtrack where Shreya Goshal joins hands with Haricharan for Hindi Version where Chitra renders in Tamil version. I prefer the Hindi version over the Tamil version mainly due to Arijit’s exceptional singing and the coarse voice along with the stupendous improvisations make this one exceptionally well-conceived song.

The best song in the soundtrack goes to Arijit Singh’s terrific Tumhein Mohabbat, a melancholy Pooriya Dhanasree Raaga, and its Tamil equivalent Idhu dhaan En Kadhai is sung by Srinivas. Rahman packs more awesomeness in the rest of the soundtrack. Shreya’s nuanced singing when the lyrics go as Haye chaka chak and the frolicsome tone makes one hit the repeat button easily similar to the combo’s latest hit Param Sundari. Since the track features in Tamil wedding, Rahman makes effective use of Nadaswaram throughout the song. Chaka Chak is a delightful throwback to early Rahman days from the playful sounds in the prelude followed by Shreya Goshal’s splendid rendition makes this one an easy winner. Rahman peppered the arrangements with the lovely brass sections throughout the soundtrack while Daler Mehndi aces the rendition with his energetic vocals. Garda rides on the peppy tune and the catchy clarinet hook but Rahman weaves his magic in the arrangements.
